But seriously McMahon just wasnt good enough. I failed to see what McMahon did that had a positive and effective influence except the goal that came from a sensational chase and tackle by Lids, that's who made it happen.

That hospital handball to Lids in the first quarter really didnt help my views on him for the rest of the game though I must admit.

I really hope we keep Meyer next year and he holds his form so the 'tache can have some serious competition for his spot.

So what exactly did Bowden do of note? Seriously, how did he influence the game in a positive way? All I saw was a the same old shitload of easy uncontested possessions , stopping and propping and generally nipping our attacking raids in the bud as soon as he got the ball. Standing like statue desperately twitching to come to life, often ignoring his own players speeding past him on the burst with acres of space in front of them....is it because he's apparently the go to man when we need settling down or get unsure of ourselves..?..Sorry , but to me, at this stage of our list's development , that ain't a good thing....
