Poor turn out really for the second consecutive season but to put that aside the best team during the year won and congrats to Subiaco. Brad Smith is a rock up forward for them and their fast midfield is dominate whilst their half back line is also pretty bloody good and i am annoyed at Caine Hayes cause everyone at the club knew he did something obviously very bad to be sacked alongside Knighter and i wish we had them both back. Congrats but it will only last a year until we are back with a better coach and all :D

More money to add to their millions for Subiaco, sigh... ;)

Well that's not too bad, really.

This is the post AFL era now, you had to expect that local crowds would fall a bit.
Yes but in 2002 they got over 31,000 IIRC, GF crowds are largely dependent on the weather and/or supporter bases of teams involved.

Ah well, another season confined to mothballs for my Tigers. :(

Interesting that the teams mirrored the nightspots:

Subi - older, richer, more talent

Claremont - younger, poorer, not quite the same level of talent

Ask Brent Tuckey about the sackings.

Better coach and more interstate imports?, try some local product.
