I feel the set backs hes had are gonna be great for his game.. i rekon hes gonna have eye of the tiger on his return and destroy all in his path.... go AW!!!! good luck son...

All the very best for today Walks. :thumbsu:

He must be itching to get back out there with the way we have been playing. :D

just heard that texas played a good second quater :) its great to hear!!
but the sad thing is we are down by 35 points :( and its only half time!!

I watched the game today....

Walker got plenty of the ball as a lead up half foward, he was running really well and his fitness seems pretty good for a first up game.

His pressure and attack on the ball was very impressive and his will to win at the contest is great. However, his kicking and decision making was well below par, continually missed easy targets under no real pressure, and had a set shot which he kicked out on the full. Hopefully he was scratchy as it was his first game back, but the signs didn't look good regarding his kicking to position.

Hartlett looked uninterested and didn't see much of the ball, Blackwell was sloppy with his disposal, Ackland is no good, Saddington is finished very sloppy skills, Austin played ok did some nice things, Ellard was crafty, Ryan Jackson played with some real intensity and did alright....

Don't expect too much from Walks, I predict he'll play mostly at half forward and the wing in the seniours. Kicking might be a bit scratchy as it was a thing he had got right at the end of last season. He will be a tad rusty skills wise. Either way he will be a huge in and I look forward to him being able to play on the ball.

Goals how many kick he did? Did disposals very good did he? Run out of game is in it he did?
