Just wondering if these are common in the east coast? Ive noticed a few in Perth recently and am unsure how i feel about them. Anyone else find them demeaning to the people walking around with an ad on their back?

Things are only demeaning if they are being forced to do them. It may not be the best of jobs, and it might even be embarrassing to some, but if they take the paycheck, then it is their choice, and they have only themselves to blame if they feel demeaned.

Now pr0n, on the other hand, is demeaning to all involved, no matter how voluntary it is.

There was that craze a while back with people selling advertising space on their body on ebay where companies would pay to have their logos painted/tattoed on a persons forehead, back etc. I don't know if you mean something like that which is incredibly stupid or an old style apocalypse is now nutter with a board straddling his body and handing out the world is ending pamphlets kind of thing.

And that's a very random change of agenda in the post above!

Disagree.

I have nothing but appreciation for good quality pr0n. Like a fat kid falling over - it never gets old.

I guess because it seems like a demeaning way of getting paid, that they would not have known would be part of the job when applying, and would have little to no say in being a part of.

but yeah bruh they gotsta get dat paper

This is true, but I'm sure that there are millions of office workers that also feel like they do demeaning jobs below their skillset and qualifications. At least the board carriers are getting fresh air. :thumbsu:

And no, I'm not a board carrier, but can you imagine what it would be like if i was?

Used to be a few in the City (Melb) but living out in the sticks you don't see any. Newcastle have a couple too. Students that irritate you.
