Something to do to fill in one day of the off-season.

After listening to mindless, incoherent drivel from our former coach (and his wife) for the past few years, I feel that next year will be refreshing to hear actual statements of substance from Plough. Post comments that you'd like/expect/crave to hear from Terry next year.

Eg. I'm hoping for:

"There's no doubt that these kids will be sensational, career players for the RFC, talents that will be able to rebuild the club into a premiership force."

I'm expecting however:

"It's obvious that the senior guys have forgotten how to win a game of footy. This club has a long, long way to go before it can take itself seriously again, and if these guys can think they're going to get away with this attitude and performance, they've got another thing coming."

Any more?

*Flash Foward to Last Sunday in Sept, 2007*

Future RFC President: "And now I present to you. The Richmond Football Club's Premiership Winning Coach, Mr Terence Wallace"

And the crowd ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAARS!

"Yeah nah, we're sticking fat. The boys were cherry ripe and they're gonna be little rippas. It's a tough gig this coaching caper."

Will we see plough stuffing the boys into the rooms straight after a win in round one like the win against collingscum this year?

What he'll say;

"The clubs not in as bad a position as it's detractors would have you believe"

What he'll mean;

"Jesus Christ, Spud ********ed this joint good and proper!"

i for one will just be happy to hear something other than spuds rhetoric. to hear plough actually say things that are not just cliches or phrases no one but a bungaree potato farmer would have heard (who will ever forget 'stick fat') will be an amazing breath of fresh air. to have a coach who wont feel like he is under fire every week and knows how to handle the media will be great. i would go so far as to say spud allowed himself to feel too much outside presure particularly from the media (i guess you would call it press-ure. ok bad joke, sorry) and this really affected his performance as a coach.
