WandTV USB HD Digital TV Tuner

I am looking at buying a WandTV USB HD Digital TV Tuner.

Excuse my ignorance, but is it as simple as me plugging this in to my laptop to be able to watch TV or does it somehow need to be plugged in to an antenna.

Also, do I need to buy any other software.

Once again I apologise for my lack of knowledge, but I guess that is what this forum is for.

the good news, you need no other software.

it comes with an antenna, how it works is another matter, it might work well in some places, but i wouldn't bet on it to work very well anywhere.

I've got an Elgato version of one of these. Works fantastic. set it to record all my fav shows. I love it.
Has a small magnetic antenna, but because it's a standard socket you can connect it to your main home antenna if you want.
