Wanting to get back to playing guitar

Stopped playing guitar four or five years ago after getting lessons for a year or two.

I'd like to start playing again as I've still got my guitar and I enjoyed it, but just couldn't find the time or motivation to pick it up again.

Are there any good youtube channels, websites, apps etc that can help me learn again for free?

Not really fussed if it teaches theory, how to make your own riffs etc or just demos of how to play famous songs.

Just type in youtube the song title and "lesson" and you will generally get something useful. I picked up my guitars a year or so ago after 20 years off and have found most of what I need. www.Ultimate-Guitar.om for TABS is great, though you might have to pay to get what used to be free and fantastic = powertabs. Keep at it, I just spent a weekend playing and jamming with 25 other people. Great fun.

The best way to get back into guitar playing is to listen to lots of music I reckon. That will get you inspired to play it, and you'll be able to think of more stuff to learn too. And yeah what allrighty says about UltimateGuitar for tabs too.

I was looking around myself today and found this which i thought was pretty helpful. Looks like it links to a good site as well.
