What do people think of Warnock?

Obviously came of the rookie list and only played a handful games.

I liked his game on the weekend he never seemed to be to far from his man and played a good defensive game. He showed a bit when he kicked that goal, however he did make a few errors by foot.

What peoples opinion?

The goal was great, massive helicopter, I think he looked reasonably quick over the ground and more like a small defender with height than the big one we have been looking for, probably behind Whelan and Bell in looking for a spot in the back pocket as a really defensive player, not in the running back mode of Ward, Petterd and Brown and could free them up to play that role, i wouldnt want the ball in his hands much but he was willing to get it - eg. after kickouts and i think he did well.

I agree Jonesy - Warnock looked good.

He looked very handy, will watch him closely throughout the year.

He is a hardworking defender with average skills. Putting him on a highly skillful yet lazy Motlop wasn't a smart idea and we were lucky it didn't cost us more. I do like his game a lot but can't see a spot for him in the side this week.

Warnock is worth persisting with. He has played a few years in Sandy, a team that prides itself on its defence. He is therefore is well drilled in good defensive work which is probably more than could be said for a few of our other defenders.

But I agree, may not get a game this weekend because of match-ups.
