Wasting food.

Today on the bus home, there were two girls complaining about how they didnt like the pies they'd bought themselves. So they ended up leaving them on the bus, getting off a few stops before me.

I was utterly disgusted. I mean, I eat what I'm given, because the fact is that there are people in this world who have nothing, and are starving. I hate wasting food, even if I dont like it, and if I'm not hungry I'll cover it, re-heat it (if needed) and eat it later.

Anyone else have an opinion?

So the moral is - we should all be unhappy because others are unhappy? There was no benefit, either way, to the "starving millions", whether the girls ate the pies or not.
