Watching the game last night I felt we had reverted a bit to our pre Fremantle game form. Sure we won but the Bombers were VFL standard in the first half.

Maybe the competition was so bad they went to sleep a bit or were started to larise because they spotted a week opposition and wanted to enjoy there footy, but it made me nervous to watch.

Terry also seemed to revert to some of our old structure so maybe that was what made me nervouse.

They just didn't seem to be presenting and giving options as much as I have seen the in the last 4 weeks.

Bring back McGuane, Morton and get Conners in the team

Hard to say - Bombers were so bad in the first half it was all a bit surreal. I suppose it's the type of game we would have lost in years gone by so at least we settled and ground out a win. We'll certainly know more after we play Sydney. Hopefully we'll play like we did the last time we went interstate.

Tackling was way better than early in the season though, and the skills have improved. We will know alot more after the next match at the SCG.

I agree. We played alright for three of the four quarters, but I think we wearn't playing to the same standards we played against the tougher teams (Bulldogs, Hawthorn and Geelong). If we played like we did last night against those teams we would have been staring down a 10+ goal loss. It is not good enough for the team to drop their intensity because they are playing against easier oposition.

The team should play with the same intensity they displayed against Bulldogs and the Saints week in and week out regardless of the oposition. If the team starts to feel they can relax or not go in as hard depending on the oposition Richmond would never be anything better than a middle of the road side.
