Great thread, need one of these pointless blast from the past threads every couple of weeks I reckon.
I remember well the Weed's playing days with the Crows. We used to love it when he got anywhere near the ball. I reckon he even took a couple of pretty quality hangers.
In those days I always used to sit with my mother at the games, she would call out "WEEEEED" in her deepest possible voice if he got within 5 metres of the ball and then laugh hysterically. It is enjoyable to think of that now, at the time I was quite embarrassed by it.
We need a player who we can all yell out something when they get near the ball, like "WEEEEED" or "ROOOO" ... who could it be? Or is there someone already? I haven't been to a game for 3 years.

Does Weid have some kids? Would be great to get some players with real mongrel running around. Chances are they'd be permanently suspended and have their salary be deposited straight in to Gillion's bank account to cover fines though.
