Congratulations to Cap on 200 games! It’s not every day that a player reaches the 200 game milestone in the Sweet FA, but that’s exactly what Cap has done.
Cap’s journey began in Season 5 with the Original Dragons, where he displayed his natural talent and passion for the game. He played 68 games before the Dragons merged with the Southern Sharks, giving us a glimpse of the Qooty genius that would mark his career.
But what makes his 200th game even more special is his comeback story. Cap left the league for 22 seasons to pursue his acting career. Following his role in Bear in the Big Blue House, Cap ventured into Hollywood, playing the bear who attacked Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant. Additionally, he served as a stunt double for iconic characters like Paddington and Ted. But he never lost his love for Qooty, and decided to return in Season 29, joining the Las Vegas Bears as a loyal and valuable member. His played 131 games with skill and commitment, earning 3 Mateflon Best and Fairest Medals and 2 All-SFA berths.
Cap is also a great person off the field, always friendly and helpful to his teammates and opponents alike. But Cap also has some strange habits that make him stand out from the crowd. Every day when he arrives at the club, he greets his teammates by saying, “Hi there, everybody. What’s that? Oh, it’s you.” And then he sniffs them to find out who's been shitting in the woods and who's been using the potty. He even has a quirky song encouraging his teammates to use the potty, and he won't hesitate to break into song to get his point across.
At the the end of the day, Cap isn’t done with his theatrics. He sings and talks to the moon every night, hoping that Luna, the celestial beauty, will answer him back. You see, Cap overheard someone calling the moon “Luna” and, being the romantic that he is, genuinely believes there’s a lady up there named Luna. We haven’t had the heart to tell him that “Luna” is just Italian for the moon. So, every night, he serenades the celestial body, hoping that his dulcet tones reach the mysterious lady Luna.
