Media Il secolo del capo : tony's 100 games of class

Tony was born and raised in Little Italy, Springfield. His family were hardworking Italian immigrants who ran a small bakery by day and a Casino by night. tony once dreamed of opening his own Pizza Shop but needed the qoin, so did not hesitate to join the local mafia as a henchman. The early life lessons and connections from the people who visited the family 'businesses' provided invaluable, as tony leaned on this experience as he worked his way up to Il Capo.

One late night, Il Capo stumbled onto the nearby world of Sweet after an accidental tag by then-Bombers skipper WaynesWorld19 followed by a very Vegas-like news story by Harvey Manfrenjensenden . Without knowing what he was in for, tony signed up to the fledgling Serpents on Whacking Day. Not long after, he put aside his Broken Dreams after the unsuccessful expansion bid and found himself naturally drawn to the extravagance, organised crime, gambling, nightlife and general debauchery of Las Vegas.

tony 's wit, humour, diligence and leadership skills made him an asset to the Bears and the league. Before long he rose to be the Bears' trusty don and bus driver whilst assisting others with their media projects, graphics and avatars. Never wasting words and always posting quality over quantity, he began strongly with this post in his rookie season and has continued to infuse brilliance into every video, post and gif ever since.

Onfield, tony has accumulated multiple unofficial awards such as Post Of The Year/ Post Of The Week as well as three all-SFA selections. His impressive record doesn't even tell the full story as he has missed out on many more accolades due to being a team player through and through. tony has played the first half of his career from HBF before moving to the bench and eventually dropping himself out of the side altogether with a questionable 'injury'. Nobody believed him when tony insisted 'I didn't do it' , not even when his cousin Fit Tony started playing for the Isotopes one day...

Off the field, tony once famously stated 'I don't get mad, I get stabby'. This was illustrated perfectly when he famously won as the Godfather on werewolf debut before mysteriously disappearing from the Club Room. Instead, he has opted to create a club of his own and even his own video channel.

It's fitting that tony is finally notching his 100th game of an outstanding qooty career during Heritage week and just days after the Las Vegas Bears' 400th game, as nobody is more Vegas Proud or a bigger modern Vegas Star than tony .

Congratulations tony, Sweet can't wait to see what your next 100 games brings. Here are some messages from your fellow Vegas citizens:

Ah! Tony.

What a legend, before he came along I had tried numerous times to bury our former feckless coaches Walken and Swanson, who not only couldn't see my potential they were known Mateflon yes men (barf).

Here we sit with Coach Ted, thanks largely to Tony's wonderful ability at 'taking care' of people.

Tireless captain, witty contributor and photoshop wizard.
Well done on the milestone Tones.

P.S. Please respond to my emails Re: Operation Veteran Cleansing. I don't want to have to go to the competition.

tony!

Congrats on playing your 100th game. It’s been a pleasure playing against, and now for you. Hope the Mafia don’t bug you too much this week and you have time for a break before killing it on Sunday.

Chip.

I can't believe he has only played 100 games. Perhaps because he sat out a few. But gee, he is a big wig in this little comp.

tony! The most quaint, kind and unassuming companion. Really wouldn't pick him as a guy who would ice pick someone's balls, but there it is. I don't think there's anyone who brings people in and fosters humour and engagement like tony does. If ever there is a thread looming too drab or stale or hostile, you know fat is just around the corner with a novel visual gag and some piano wire. His tireless, thoughtful and measured work captaining the Bears reflects all the values we treasure. tony puts others first, is consultative and innovative, and never lets nitty-gritty get in the way of a good time. I don't know where all his brilliant ideas come from, but I suspect if I ever find out, I won't be around long enough to make use of them. He really is a true master.

Your cheque didn't clear, sort it out or certain tapes will find their way into the hands of BearlyNews Media for release.

Sincerely,

At the start of season 30 @Muddiemoose was putting together a Rookie PM after both the Vampires & Serpents expansion bids were brutally voted down. @tony and the Moose became friends through the Serpents, deciding to both move to Vegas.

On the other hand, as a Vampire I followed Bastyy to the Furies (one of the worst decisions I ever made). But Moose still saw me as worthy as standing alongside them as S30 rookies.

@tony ’s first contribution to the PM was

@tony was right. But not in the way he had thought. A few hours later, @Muddiemoose and I got a few posts deleted on the main board for inappropriate gifs. Clearly the league wasn’t ready for Moose fornication jokes.

This lead to @tony ’s second contribution.

Since then @tony has become the master of creating the “good stuff” that fits within both the rules, but also the spirit of Sweet.

The ultimate persona on the outside, someone who can say more in one gif, than many posters can say in an entire match thread. @tony has never spammed a match thread for the sake of a post count— every one of his posts are quality and get a reaction from post team mates and opponents.

Within the confines of a PM, @tony is the definition of a captain who cares about his club. Over the past 8 seasons @tony has grown from rookie, to team funny man to LG Stalwart to Captain. In @tony ’s time as captain the Bears have evolved into one of the largest and most diverse mix of posters in the league. He as rallied a group of people behind him that enjoy the league because of the “good stuff” that Tony brings every week.

I apologise for taking two quotes from a PM, one from many years ago—- but even from Day 1, @tony knew that the SFA had no idea what he’d bring to the league.

Congratulations on the 100th game @tony

The less I say about Tony the better. We know his henchmen are never too far away. The Bears are a better club for having him apart of it. With his various rackets, like illegal gambling or cigarette smuggling he has bought riches to the club we never thought possible. He's always willing to help anyone out with anything they are working on or with a job. When Tandy electronics was struggling he gave me a job loan sharking. Thanks Tony.

Aaaahhh, my business partner has finally reached a milestone that didn’t fall off the back of a truck.

Congratulations tony, hope this doesn’t bring you unwanted attention from the authorities.

Ok, cricket analogy time.

tony is the Kane Williamson of this league. Universally regarded highly but it sneaks up on most just how good they are. Someone who became an accidental captain and led their team spectacularly and, to the outside world, effortlessly. Like Williamson, tony might just be the best there is currently.

Massive congrats on a fine century.

As a lifelong, long-suffering Black Caps fan I absolutely love and appreciate this analogy/sentiment, even if I was lucky enough to know how good both Williamson and tony were/are earlier than most
