My wife, my son(21) and myself drove from Adelaide on Saturday to Melbourne and stayed overnight. We caught a tram to Telstra Dome and had one of the best days we have had watching the mighty saints(nearly as good as the final we won in adelaide). We left melbourne at around 5:30 yesterday arvo and got home at around 1;15 am this morn. Started work at 5 am and have just got home. TIREDDDD but ohh so happy. The Crow(morons) supporters have already jumped off their club before the finals have even started.

As social club members we booked Social club area seats a week ago and they were absolutely fantastic. I just cant believe how QUIET the crowd was in the 1st quarter and how sooooo many StKilda footy fans "eat their own" Just terrible. Butthey pay for their tickets so I suppose they can say what they want to. Any way We got the Harvey magazine and the Footy Record and also copies of the harvey signs they were giving out. Had an absolute ball and hope to get over their for the Granny :)

Great stuff panthers! Generally Saints fans can be a little on the quiet side when things are going the wrong way - but we do find voice collectively when it counts. Glad the boys kicked into gear after playing possum at the start for you. I had both little ones there & while one slept through the match & the other hoovered chocolate & chips all game. They'll have the memoribilia & be able to say they were there for the Living Legend's last home game. :thumbsu:

Good work panthers - happy that the Saints made it worth the effort.

A bit disappointed with the crowd, but I guess there were even less at Barry Breen's 300th (and we had plenty to thank him for!!!).

I can hardy blame someone who travels from over the border. :thumbsu:

Well done, panthers !

The silence in the first quarter was almost a bit scary. Fortunately, Lyon noticed and made one of his smartest moves of the day : after an Adelaide behind, he sent Harvey to kick it back in...

We all had a laugh on that one.

It was a bit of Harv's saing "get outta my freakin way. You blokes are stuffing up my celebration game. Do I have to do everything myself?"

We that was I was imagining anyway (Harvs wouldn't swear would he? :D).

We laughed as well when harves kicked out,, we were waiting for him to go in to the ruck lol. Geeze I love it when we win and especially when we beat crows or port. Not getting ahead of myself but the way we are playing atm we can go a hell of a long way in the finals (fingers crossed) :)

It always seems quieter at Docklands. That place always manages to suck the life out of a crowd, even when it's in full voice. It provides a nice view of the game but that's about it.

Anyway, it was still great to watch after quarter time. Go Bobby, go.

Ripping work panthers.

Great that you could see the boys win.

The Saints crowd pretty much reflects our game plan.....very slow out of the blocks but then comes home like a train!
