The weather on Satrurday looks like it's going to be Hot (mid

thirties)

Will the AFL move this to a night game. Can they ?

they'd be reluctant to change it because of the soccer game they have to fit in as well?

I saw on Foxtel's weather channel that it could also rain on Saturday....a sweat box for all! :(

I'll not sure the AFL give a hoot when soccer is on. If there ever was a clash the AFL would throw its weight around and... hey presto the the soccer is back at Perth oval.

I'd be pretty happy if it was 30. Not quite hot enough to reduce the game to a grudge match, but hot enough to turn the Carlton players into ooze.

I remember many years ago we played Melbourne in Round 1 at Subi when it was a stinker and they were killing us until about half way into the 2nd quarter when some of them started cramping, and we ran all over the top of them from then on.

It's got me buggered why the AFL would schedule day games in Perth for the first few rounds though, it would give them an excuse to play Subday twilight matches. Would anyone really mind a 5pm start on a Sunday?

I'd be happy with any other timeslot than the one we have! I work retail until 5pm, and won't be there! Damn them and their stupid sat games.

I agree with your sentiments.

I wondered why they would have a 1.10 start. Telecast to Victoria?, that makes it 4.10 and would run into news. Nice weather?, Perth in March / April can be a tad warm.

Why don't they programme the W.A. teams to play most of their night games early in the season and play the day games in winter?. I understand the AFL has learnt not to push many day games in Brisbane early in the year.

The weather bureau is forecasting 25 degrees so that is far to

cool!!!!!!!

Gives Carlton hope!!
