I have just finished designing this website however for some reason the main text area displays bigger in IE, but works normally in Firefox?

Can any experienced web designers shed some light?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

**** don't have IE installed so cant see it so ill take a stab.

Default font size in IE may be bigger than the one in Firefox thus if you haven't set up a default font size anywhere in the code that may cause a problem.

Also any small thing like missing a ; or anything may cause it.

Your css file was full of missing ;

like here:

Position: absolute;
Top: 5px; left: 5px
Width: 600px; height: 170px;

font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif

fix that up and it should work normally in IE

Thanks for the help guys, unfortunately throwing in the ; in the CSS didn't fix the problem in IE.

I'm guessing it could be an inline css issue.

Anyone got any more ideas?

looks fine in IE9

im guessing your trying to fix it in IE6 and 7?

just add a few breaks below those menu images and saturday special

that could be it

Your solution is that IE is the worst browser around. You have plenty of other choices, and if you are concerned then say that your website is viewed best on "this and this" browser.
