Weekly Winner

Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, but did anyone else notice the weekly winner from this week. Clearly this person has created a team just for this week (as you can tell by the fact they had no score last week and they selected no Eagles, Swans or Demons players who had the bye this week.) Given they probably have multiple sides (which is against the rules) I wonder what checks the Supercoach admin's do before handing over the $1000 !!

Defintly created for just this week, with all 11 reserves rookies, and a team called gimmethecash!

I defintely reckon they will check him out for other teams and he probably wont get the cash.

We keep selling cows increasing fantasy values and "gimme the cash" sticks true to his name. SC are probably too lazy to check on whoever has done it.

I dont see why they wouldnt give him the cash despite it being obvious what has happened. There is nothing saying you cant enter at any round and not be eligible for the cash

There's nothing against the rules about entering late and getting the weekly prize. The question being raised here is whether he also has other team(s) in the comp, which is against the rules.

I was actually planning on doing this for all rounds with 3 byes. Laziness became a factor, but it's definitely worthwhile for this next round

Even if you already have a team, there is nothing stopping someone using their girlfriend/wife as a front and entering a team and winning the $1000.

SC/HS cant prove otherwise.

Yes, it is. Hence the ever popular significant other's team. And if the winner's done that, well it's not like they're going to put any effort into finding out whether it's legit or not.

To be honest I don't really care what the case is here, but you were posting about how entering teams after Round 1 was allowed so I was merely pointing out that you were missing the point.
