Weezer - Raditude

Just had a listen, first impressions, a bit different, but bloody good.

Will give it a few more spins in the coming days but standout tracks at the moment is Let It All Hang Out, Put Me Back Together, Get Me Some.

Top album, Rivers Cuomo is a star.

It does doesn't it WTF is Lil Wayne doing on a Weezer album?? And that Bollywood rubbish???

I really liked Red, Greatest Man that Ever Lived, Heart Songs and Troublemaker were all great songs. It wasn't anywhere near Blue or Pinkerton, but it had its moments. My first impressions of this album are not good at all

Loved Red, really loved it. But everything about Raditude (except maybe the album cover) has pointed me in the wrong direction. Just as Michael Jackson in South Park "I'm scaaaaaared". Will still give it a bash though.

Some useful (or not so useful) trivia. The album photo is taken from the photo competition run in National Geographic (the magazine). I assume the person who sent the photo in gets some sort of compensation/royalties.

What. The ****. Is with that song that has Lil Wayne on it? It's up there with the most bland, insipid crap I've heard this year. I'm not a huge Pinkerton fan, but I can sure see why a lot of Weezer fans are pissed off when you compare that album to this type of garbage.

Weezer have basically been shit for over 10 years. I think Rivers has just stopped caring and will release any crap to see if people will still buy it.
