tell me what our first pick in the draft will be now
somewhere in the 60's ?
Yeah, we've basically swapped pick 47 for pick 50, and for that swap we get Yagmoor.

It's basically a freebie.:)

Here we go;

Not bad for nothing.

RalphyHeraldSun: Peter Jagmoor is a quick left footer who played for the Gold Coast Suns ressies at times. Another bargain buy for Pies [via Twitter]

Re: Who is Peter Yagmoor ?

all those highlights were around the player with the ball,
so likes to get his hands dirty.

seems good under pressure and showed some real grit.

unconventional style kick and handpasses,
but some of those handballs were bullets.

good work pies

Am absolutely stoked with this. I have seen Yagmoor play quite a bit this year. Played a bit of footy for the Suns reserves side and was a contributor for sure. IN fact I think it was vs NT (who were best team in the comp) and he really stood out off HB where he was pretty composed and made good calls. Wouldnt say he was super quick. He has played for QLD the last couple of years and oozes class. For mine he was probably the pick of the QLD kids this year along with Allen. Huge boot on him and is a really natural type player but probably the knock on him is he doesnt work hard enough (at times he looks a bit laconic) but that can be taught as he just needs a bigger motor. There is no doubt he has ability to play in the middle but not there yet. Bottom line is he has class and this is a bloody steal.

Well done Mr Hine!

Re: Who is Peter Yagmoor ?

Disposal looked a bit dodgy but he is intent around the ball looked good, Hine has seen something he likes, I would've thought if he was any good GC would keep him, or even if GC weren't keen on him our interest would make them look at him again.

I like his awareness and willing to handball to advantage.

This is a bargain

Anymore GCS????????????

Straight replacement for Brad Dick, long term of course.

Aboriginal out, Aboriginal in = straight replacement...?

They don't even look remotely similar in terms of how they go about their football. Yagmoor looks like a much more tenacious Simon Buckley to me. Seems to prefer to give it off a little more than Buckley, but they've both got pace and a long left boot.

Hopefully this means Buckley is getting the flick, distinct possibility of it happening now with the amount of players we have brought in. Blokes like Yagmoor and Elliot should count to your list turn over IMO though. They are draft age players that would've been taken in the ND anyway, seems logical to just count them as live ND picks.

I wasn't suggesting that, in fact it's offensive to say so to me, I was merely saying he looks like he'll start his career as a small forward, just like Dick did.

If Dick had of been able to stay fit, he would have moved up the ground as his career progressed, just like we hope this kid does.
