We must be leaving Khamis in defence at whichever level he plays at, for this to make sense

Congrats Will, go well

Well done Will.

Whatever the outcome it, this is only healthy for our overall football program - encouragement for players to train at a high standard and play for our VFL team, because you never know the opportunities that might arise.

A month ago I bet Will thought an AFL career was a pipe dream. A great story.

Our tall depth with JUH gone is not as good as people think. What do we do when one of Naughton, Darcy or Croft go down?

Khamis is finally clicking as a defender so we really shouldn't throw him up forward, Lobb is probably in his last year and needs to focus on being consistent. That's our two swingmen who could play the role.

Gardner has barely been able to impact games when thrown up forward in the VFL, that's going to be even worse at AFL level.

Walker is way too light to play AFL as a forward at this point in time and he had half of a preseason and is now out for a couple of months.

Who do we have left that can be tall forwards structurally? Emmett and Smith. A first year ruck and an undersized ruck.

For the last spot on the entire roster, I'd rather be smart and sign key position depth in anticipation of the worst case scenario.

Wait What!
When did this happen and what's the injury?

There's a chance he makes a debut this week with Darcy in doubt. If he cops Harris Andrews that's a hell of a task for a guy who had only just scraped onto an AFL list

You serious?? 🤨
Yes - that's what other posters have been telling me when I expressed doubts on his list spot.
I wouldn't do it, but who knows what the MC will do.
