Firstly let me say that I would have loved to see the boys in the big dance next week. Unfortunatley to win flags you need to have a good list as well as a lot of luck. The pies were crueled by injury this year and then to throw on top of that the J-Mac death during the finals. A first year coach, our best Key position player with constant speculation about weather he is even going to be here next year.
Lets face it the obsticles were just too many this year. I think given the circumstances the pies did well to make the prelims. I just hope we can secure our current players to keep our window open this off season is a very important one.
The other key will be how Keefe and Ball get up from their rehabilitation from knee injuries.
I think those calling for Buckleys head should be ashamed because Malthouse wouldn't have delivered us a flag under the current circumstances either.
