Peter Everitt has retired. Was a good servant for St.kilda. Although he did leave us, i actually thought it was good for both parties. The Spida did not seem to enjoy his football towards the end at St.kilda. His best years in the ruck were with the Hawks, some brillant ruck work taps.

I thought the Swans were going to be a tough force when Everitt arrived for the 2007 season. The only problem was it was one year too late, was well past it. In 2008, Everitt, along with the G-train, were the two biggest has beens in the AFL. It was really sad to see.

Imagine if we had him and Lazer injury free for the 1997 Grand Final.

Well done Spida, enjoy retirement.

I was too young to really understand why and how he left, but always enjoyed watching him play.

Forget 97, imagine if we'd had him rucking in the 04/05 prelims instead of Knoble or Hackland.

But yeah he was a great player.

Yea was a very young boy when Spida was at the sainters so dont exactly know wot the go was there but he was good to watch with his blonde dreads and the headband, idolised him for a while there. Great career
