When i saw the emotion from Brown after he kicked that goal, i realized that tanking would have been a massive dishonour to the man.

Reminded me of when Darren Kowal kicked a goal in his last game and somebody picked him up sideways. Quality.

well done Doggy...I used to have the legendary number 25 on my back and when browny saw it at a Melbourne function he was delighted and it was great to see him smile like that. Just as he did in todays game. A true battler, a true legend.

It was great to see Brown and Pickett kick a goal and Bizzle didnt play that bad either. Browns determination to win the ball in the middle when he was diving everywhere showed how much he wanted to leave on a good note, also pickett ran hard tonight and the three shots on goal he had kept me on the edge of my seat, im glad he atleast got one. All are champion of the game sad to see them leave.

Get lost, I am sicck of your gutless club comming on this board. You tanked, we played a 1/2 strength side, with some players who won't be there next year. It was everything pathetic about how this game is going.

Unfortunately selling his house in Melbourne and moving back to Adelaide Shwarter. I had a chat to him last night after the game and he said it sounds a bit weird but he was on the biggest high. He had an absolute blast playing that last game and getting chaired off etc. He's an optimistic type of bloke so always looks for the best in situations. Not one to get the waterworks going after the game or anything.

He's playing for West Adelaide next year (where he was recruited from) and then going into the fire brigade after that. Still can't believe he has retired, just loved watching him play. How good was it when he was diving on players boots and trapped the ball in to give of the a Melbourne player. Like the Grybas said on commentary, that rolled up his whole career in one moment. Great stuff Dog
