Well played the Swans, they put a young side on the park against the Pies and kicked straighter despite the tricky south wind. They certainly had a lot of run, and held off a bit of a surge by the Pies in the third quarter.
Goodes played really well, a mate of mine reckons he's the sort of fella the Brownlow won't intimidate, it'll just make him better. There were a few kids who put their hands up-number 40 (Mickelski or something) took a nice grab and dobbed a nice goal.
Davis has a couple of pretty touches, he's still one of my favourites. Strangely he didn't finish that well-his old man used to stick them through without fail at the Dights Falls (outer) end.
Things look OK for the Swans.
