Well played Saints, you deserved to win by more last night. I guess you took the foot off the pedal at quarter time to save energy.

You looked so much better than us in the square it wasn't funny. X Clarke added vim to the vigour of your midfielders, and Kosi and Riewoldt were mobile and deadly.

Milne may have got a couple of dubious frees, but they probably squared up for the frees not paid to Gehrig when Clemmo tried a bit of Japenese rope tying on him.

We haven't been shown that little of respect in 2 years. I don't mean the Saints were cocky or arrogant, but they only did what they needed to win and saved their energy for another day. I don't think you got out of second gear.

At least our tall forwards contributed but just about everywhere else we were shut down. Even when Richards got a hit out it was sharked. Sheesh.

I got a little scared in the third quarter when the Pies got within 4 goals...I was starting to think the Subiaco hangover might kick in after that. It was amazing we only lost that quarter by 8 points.

I don't think we relaxed in that quarter though like you said Cyclops, it was Guy Richards' ruckwork that gave you the edge, and all of a sudden Collingwood decided to come out and play.

What do you think of your chances next week against Adelaide Cyclops?
