What’s the deal with Kayo? So last weekend, and the one before, they did the AFL rewind, pretty much exactly the same as the AFL live throwback round (few games were different, ours was one of them) but then this weekend it’s just all that top 50 bullshit, and no rewind of the round that would be?? Is Foxtel showing the same as the AFL live App??

From the AFL prospectus on Judd's 2006 season

"Judd continues to build his reputation as the best midfielder of the modern era with his dominance in 2006 culminating in a set of numbers that may never be matched. Judd averaged more clearances, contested possessions and hardball-gets than any player in 2006 and also booted more goals than any other midfielder (29). He had an elite kicking efficiency of 83% and he remarkably turned the ball over only 12 times from his 332 kicks. His work when not in possession can often go unnoticed, however he averaged five tackles per game last season which ranked sixth in the AFL. Judd's dominance in the big games is outstanding with averages of 29 disposals, 14 contested possessions, eight hardball-gets, eight clearances, five inside 50s and four tackles in the past two seasons."

12 turnovers from 332 kicks, but still more clearances, contested possessions and hardball gets than all others. Jesus.

The guy should be unanimously regarded as a top 5 Eagle even if he spent half his career at Carlton.

And kicked 29 goals, the most of any midfielder.

His 28 contested possession game against the Lions was the record for 8 years as well, still only been beaten 3 times.

And his first final against the Swans is the highest scoring final recorded by Champion Data

Peak (aka West Coast) Judd was the best player I've ever seen.

You only need to look at the first play of the day in this 2005 Port game - the burst out of the middle from a bloke with elite skills. Good ****ing luck stopping that.

Rewatched the end of 2017 extra time. I’ve found my new favourite Richo finals call (yes, even better than DeGoey’s in the goal square).

Will upload the one line of commentary separately if 2017 doesn’t win, that’s how classic Richo it is.

The time between certainty to backfire is remarkable.

Even sweeter is we immediately went up the end and kicked a goal.

I just finished watching the Extra time and Richo has another howler about a minute later. The ball goes down the end and Kennedy goals, then Richo states that Petrie was awesome with the knock-down against Ryder, only for the replay to roll and show that it was Vardy instead.

That's trash. Nothing will ever beat DeGoeys in the goal square and you ****ing know it

Best thing about the 06 game is that Judd's wearing the red Puma Kings.
