Got on before the first rise and got off the ride when it suddenly started making those metal-on-metal grinding noises and sparks flew from the control panel, going speeding away with Stevie J.
 
I don't blame Westhoff.

I blame Port for making him a permanent forward.

I blame Hird for resting Heppell.

I blame Goodes for getting suspended.

The plan was going along perfectly. He was at SJ's price and it would only take 1 trade. 1 simple trade.

It just happened to be the one week where we all had to cover donuts :thumbsdown:

Gibbs injured, i could have waited, goodes suspended i could have lasted, but both..

It's always the way

Now SJ is 20k more expensive and Westoff is 40k cheaper - ahh well 'll have to wait till the byes for SJ now

I traded SJ out for Westhoff a few weeks ago.. Of course, Westhoff bombed out and SJ got a nice 141.

Only kept him for 2 weeks, although he had already had his first price rise. Took my 70k odd and ran away before he lost coin, unlike some others I'm still carrying.

I like potatoes, but not enough to have started with Hoff or to have brought him in. I don't feel sorry for those that did because they knew this was coming!!!

Of course everyone knew he wasn't going to keep that average up. He did his job and was a straight swap to SJ. Unfortunately injuries, suspensions and downgrade targets came along and most people weren't able to trade him out.

Even trading him out this week is a sideways trade to a premium.
 
While I am a Hoff doubter he's priced at a 90ish average, which he could maintain going by what we've seen so far.

And to make it more annoying, not only would you have got more points by accepting another zero last week and trading Hoff to SJ, you've also lost money on the deal as well... Cruel game at times...

Nb- I'm in exactly the same boat....
