Just looked up Pro-Stats, and over the course of the season we smash GEEL on all the following per game stats -rank in brackets:
Clearances - COll (4) - GEEL (16)
Tackles - COLL(4) - GEEL (13)
1percenters - COLL(2) - GEEL(10)
Contested Possession diffential - COLL(4) - GEEL(10)
1st Possession - COLL(4) - GEEL (15)
Re the later we ranked 15th in Hitouts - but still get 1st possessions.
Therefore the ruck dual is irrelevant.
These STATS give me huge confidence for our strengths particularly as they will be very important in the Wet.

Hmm, yes, a little bit reassuring, but I am more concerned about the following stat for 2011.

Geel 2, Coll 0.

Fingers crossed that results / stats during the year don't have an impact in the game...

Our wet weather champs are Daisy and I expect Trav's iron tallons to nab a bunch which means launches into the forward 50.

At the ground I'd love to have Fas and Blair there to muscle through for some quick shots. Not a disadvantage at all for us.

Already knew we were the better wet weather team.

Hence why I couldnt understand the imps (not gimps, imps) saying the weather would suit Geelong.

I told you...you've gone soft Ed...welcome back to the land of positive thinking.

You know we will win in the wet.

It makes it a lot harder for the Geelong defenders to get the big long kick out of the backline if it's wet.

We have played some of our best football in the wet, Kangaroos game springs to mind.

This.

When the Eagles served up their half-pressure in the second qtr last weekend, Geelong bombed it out of defence straight to the opposition a few times.

We also thumped Port Adelaide in the rain.

WE WILL F'KING WIN THIS

Not having Shaw was a big problem I think for round 24. We just could not get it out of defence and sitting behind the goals that was very clear.

With Shaw, Davis and O'Brien blocking from defence, I can see us running it out of there much more effectively. I really think that was our overarching problem in rd 24.

If we can get it to Daisy and then to Trav on high half forward. I back our smalls in Blair and Fasolo to hold it in much more effectively and score.

GOD NO:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I simply could not take another nailbiter...drawn GF, close Prelim, I was sh*tting my pants in the west coast final as well...

If it is I could be in Hospital Tommorow Night:eek:

Collingwood will romp it

I have a feeling we are in for a nailbiter :thumbsu:

Listen that is enough of the nailbiting finishes. I had a migraine during the entire game and could not even look at the tv directly for the second half. I threw up very late in the last and can not really recall most of the last quarter. Problem for me was I kept screaming for the entire game despite the pain.

I can not have that again.
