Frankly, I think Goldspink is the best umpire in the AFL. You may not like his interaction with the players but his decisions are largely spot-on.

Now Shaun Ryan is a different story, close to worst umpire in the AFL IMO.

Watching last night's game (Mclaren et al) and the umpiring was atrocious! The AFL needs to do something about it or it will end up a) defining a result because of poor decisions - if it hasn't already) or b) just destroy the game as the spectacle it is.

I can't stand Gildsponk either... hope he doesn't ruin it for us tonight.
