I was wondering what these have to do to get their jobs. I always figured it was just a relatively simple TAFE degree for these guys but I look at the money they're on, more than 50k in some cases, and wonder if there's more to it.

1. They need an IQ of over 85 but not higher than 100.
2. $50k is not a lot of money. A person could be a property manager for 25 years and all they'd get is $50k. And that is how much they are worth. If at 45-50 years off age, if you're not on at least 70k, you're a pleb.

Agreed.

It also appears that it's the females who sometimes can't find a way out. The older one's are hard arses as a result. It's like permanent PMS, even after that factor has long since left the building!

If you are under 23, this is a suitable enough job. But I will maintain that some of the stupidest, most inept bastards I have come across are property managers. Whether it attracts them or whether the job warps their brains I'm not sure, but they suck.
