I'm not sure if this has been done on your board before, and I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I was pondering how much stronger St.kilda would be if they had have taken Judd over Ball and Wells over Goddard.

This is by no means a dig at Ball and Goddard, it is just an observation...SCAREY!!

what if the Saints had picked Judd with pick 2 and the 2 WA teams were too scared to pick Ball at 3 or 4 because he wouldn't come over for half his rookie contract and ledt him for the Saints at 5, what if we then had Wells and kept Spider, never traded pick 17 (J Kelly) for Heath Black. Would a team ever get a clearance against us?

That's a fair point about bally. He made his intentions clear he wanted to finish school and play school footy with Xavier. Would a WA club pay him $40,000 (minimum) to do nothing not even develop and train with the club for a year?
