Some things to note:

- Preferably looking at a cost under or close enough to $250
- Must perform well in low light conditions
- Reasonably quick between shots
- More concerned about still image quality than video performance

After much research, I think I've narrowed it down to Fujifilm FinePix F200exr but am looking for any other suggestions by those who know much more than me

Hope it's ok to post this question here, apologies if I've picked the wrong section!

Cheers.

Thanks TT07, that one looks good as well. How fast do you find it is between shots?

You must have been stoked to get that so cheap :p

Any more suggestions from others out there?

After searching on the net to find out how much it cost, I offered my boss $200 but as he had got it for free he wouldn't take more than $150. So yeah, I'm fairly pleased.

Just tested how quick it is between shots and its only about 3 seconds (old camera was about 5 seconds). Long enough so you can still have a look at your last shot but you don't feel like you're waiting forever for the camera to get it's shit together.
