I'd think everyone would like to draft someone with the Davey bro's speed, Sanderland's height, Buckleys kicking, and Rob Harveys endurance and so on.

Your thoughts?

What makes up the perfect player?

Is there a player playing at the moment that is close, or was there ever one?

If you took bits and peices from any player you could what would they be?

I don't think there would be so let me know what you think :thumbsu:.

I'd take the fauces and the pharynx of an Aaron Hamill, the vastus lateralis of a David Hille, the serratus anterior of a Matthew Lloyd and the flexor hallucis longus of a David Wirrpanda.

Cornes is bigger than Kouta.

There is no real advantage in being Chad's size in the midfield, it's not like you take too many contested marks there. When it becomes a weapon is if you suddenly move to full forward and so on.

The perfect player would be able to kick goals from full back, the gameplan would revolve around rushing through points just to get him to kick it in.

they're about the same height, but Kouta is probably heavier and far more athletic.

There is advantage to size no matter where you are, Cornes busts packs open in the middle for contested ball, just like Kouta used to.

Yeah but they don't need to be key position size. Chad and Kouta are the examples of good players of that style. But there has of late (although it's starting to stop) been too much fuss over kpp sized midfielders or kpp who can play midfield. Look at Pavlich, he was ok in the midfield but absolutely wasted there for a year. I guess what I'm trying to say is there's no real advantage to being able to play as a kpp and a midfielder unless you're smart enough to use it to your advantage. The press creamed their jeans when J.Brown was in the midfield for like 2 times in a game, but nothing really developed from it.

agreed, its the ability (like Kouta and Cornes) to play consistently in the midfield, but when the need arises and the occasion presents itself, they can take pack marks in the forward line or crash packs in defence.

I'm thinking now that the perfect player would be a taller Glenn Archer with Davey's Speed and the endurance of a Rob Harvey or Chris Judd.
