Our biggest weakness is the lack of quality outside midfielders with pace. Four of our best five inside midfielders (Dangerfield, Sloane, Douglas and Brad Crouch) would also be our best outside midfielders.... then the length of the straight.....then DMac.

Here is a novel idea Sando. play Matty Crouch and Jarryd Lyons as inside midfielders and use the other 4 guys predominantly as outside midfielders. I appreciate that it may not work but surely it is worth a try? What I expect to see on Sunday is Danger, Sloaney, Dougie and BC spending even more time as inside mids, Jarryd Lyons or Matty Crouch freezing their arses off on the half forward line and when it doesn't work Sando will be able to say "See, I told you we can't play Matty Crouch and Jarryd Lyons in the same team".

Be bold Sando, there's nothing worse in life than being ordinary.

I thought AFC read BigFooty as many of us have been pointing this out nearly the whole season - particularly since Danger has been restricted by injury.

It just makes so much bloody sense, yet has not even been attempted once!

What is there to lose?

May even find out Lyons can actually play at AFL level.

At worst, you find out he can't (after several games) & not persisting with.
