5th to 8th. How soon so many experts forget the 13 goal shellacking at he hands of the Coasters last year.

I rate Sydney, Coasters, Port and Adelaide in front of them at this point.

They need Chris Grant badly to have a shot. You just need the talls.

Agreed. The Bulldogs will definately play finals, but I just reckon that you need a big marking forward. In the finals games the pressure is obviously increased, which means the skills aren't as good. You need a big forward to take a pack mark when the ball is scrappily kicked in.

My new top 8 after round 22. Sunday was the Bulldogs best game so far in 2007. Aka is coming to life, as is Cooney, Higgins, Harris and to a lesser extent Griffen. Cross and West are already on fire. Keep this up and they'll finish top 4 easy.......

The doggie side that played in the second half of Sunday's game is a top 4 side. Keep that level of play up and get some talls back into the side and September action should be an almost certainty.

Not playing as good as last year.
If we had of kicked straight,they would not have won last week.

I'm thinking the Dogs will once again finish the year in a critical condition, totally dependant on life support to survive with family members, loved ones and the broader community continuing to debate the merits of simply pulling the plug.

they will make the grand final there probably one of the only sides who can run out 4 quarters as they showed against the mighty pies.

I honestly had them pencilled in for 3rd/4th, behind Sydney and West Coast. And they aren't good enough for these teams.

But if the finals draw falls their way...
