So just been thinking about when do you switch focus from doing well overall to winning your leagues? For me I'm thinking now is the time to choose between going all out for a high position finish, or playing a conservative game to win my league matches.
my current situation:
- I'm currently 13,951th overall, 908 points off the lead.
- 24 trades left (but considering 2 more this week)
But also
- currently 7th in my cash league (5th for total points)
- should win my next couple of matches
- reasonably certain to make final 8
If I roll the dice now on some risky POD trades I could still gain some ground on the overall leader board... but run the risk of having no trades come finals time in my leagues.
So how is everyone else tracking? Anyone else changing priorities from overall to leagues?

I'm looking to get back in top 10k minimum this year and I'm currently 21,352. Depends where you want to finish but no reason why you can't have both a high finish and do well in your cash league. Would think that you are too far back for overall, but you'd be surprised how many points you can claw back if you have good scores in the bye rounds.
