Where do you think we will finish in 2024?

Last year, practically no one gave us a chance to make the finals - especially after the first half of the season. And yet, Kingsley’s system clicked during the second half of the season and the boys played with courage and self belief. We came within one point of beating the eventual premiers and making the Grand Final.

This year with that affirming confidence, and more time with Kingsley, most in the media think a top 4 finish is very likely. And from there, who knows?!

The great win against the defending Premiers Collingwood last night, shows that we have the players, system, self believe and the coaching staff to win our inaugural premiership.

I'm yet to see us lose this year, so I have to extrapolate from that that we'll be undefeated.
Our next game is at home against Norths and then we play the wooden spooners West Coast in Optus before having a bye before the Gather Round. So should be 3-0 and undefeated after 4 rounds!

Swans fan, sorry for the intrusion.

Top 4 for GWS and a bloody good chance to win it. No holes in your line-up anywhere, Greene an excellent captain (never thought I would say that!) and Kingsley seems to be an excellent coach.

Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it is a Swans v GWS GF, followed by the abolition of academy concessions.......

The markets has us as outright favourites to win the Premiership (slightly ahead of Collingwood and Brisbane). We are also outright favourites to be Minor Premiers (again just ahead of Collingwood and Brisbane). Good to know that the professionals also have a similarly high regard about the Giants prospects this year.

Ultimately Swans\Brisbane\Giants will all have to beat Collingwood at the MCG which makes it so much harder.
Hopefully some one can knock them out of a home prelim before that.

It's a long ass season so I'm hoping we go okay with injury and our depth isn't tested too much.

Pretty good coverage across the lines apart from the Ruck stocks.

play well and keep them to 6th or 7th ... EF against the lions, swans or port away

4-0 and our best ever start to the season continues. Even though we were not at our best, we won vs Gold Coast.

We are one of just 3 undefeated teams in the competition and are first in the AFL ladder. The market also has us as favourites for the minor premiership and the premiership.

I reckon we are still half rat paced and won’t click until we play some better teams…. That game yesterday had a praccy match feel to it

Still premiership favourites….still on track to be minor premiers for the first time ..still unbeaten with the best ever start in our history. Of course, premierships are not won in April, but the team have done all they can in grinding out wins.

Fox’s power ranking also has us first, though noting the difficult stretch of 6 games before our (second) bye.

Blues (Marvel), Lions (Canberra), Swans (SCG), Essendon (Marvel), Bulldogs (home) and Cats (GMHBA) is a pretty telling stretch - get out of it 4-2 or better, and they’ll be very well-placed for a top two finish
