I'm back this afternoon from Brisbane. Stayed at Rydges on Southank, they have made a good job of the Southbank in Brisbane and maybe the south shore in Perth could be done like it.
I talked with a lot of Brissy supporters and the common thread was that Fitzroys history is nothing to do with Brisbane, they are very parochial supporters up there.

Against the saints we should win but Wirra and Joey will probably be out along with Milli.

I agree with you about the south shore in Brisbane - it's a really good setup there. I think they resorted to the man-made beach because Brisbane's on mudflats, unlike Perth with its glorious beaches so relatively close to the centre. But you'd think they could do something like that - maybe at Como or South Perth.
