Who has the right of way?

I feel like this is a silly question with an obvious answer but I've been getting conflicting answers from the intelligentsia that is my friendship circle so I thought I'd ask here.

Ok say I'm driving along the road and there's a stop sign coming up. I stop. There's another car on the otherside that has arrived at the opposite stop sign at the same time as me. The road is clear, however I'm going straight and he's turning right. Who has right of way? Me, right??

Yeh I think straight always has way over right. However I reckon both would be cautious enough to avoid an accident anyways

(3) The driver must give way to a vehicle in, entering
or approaching the intersection except
(a) an oncoming vehicle turning right at the
intersection, if a stop sign, stop line, give
way sign, or give way line applies to the
driver of the oncoming vehicle;

From the Road Safety Regs, 2009. This applies to a vehicle at a stop sign. So, Kickazz is right

You do. At intersections the turner has to give way to the oncoming traffic. In such a situation as this if the road was clear the turner would go half way across the road, stop to give way to oncoming traffic (you) before completing the turn.
