Been playing guitar for about 13 years, drums for almost 10. Can play a bit of bass and also sing, though I prefer back-ups to lead vocals (screws up my talking voice less).

Where were all these guitarist when i posted the "Guess the RIFF thread"?:(

BTW anyone on or near the coast, Sunday arvos at Burleigh is well worth coming down too..

Bring your own drum, fire sticks, dancin shoes, hackey sack... or whatever rings ya bell:p

drums (primary) & percussion, bass guitar, piano/synth, a little bit of guitar, vibraphone

I play in two original bands, though I'm considering leaving one simply because of the pressure of having to convince each bandleader that I'm committed while having them book gigs and rehearsals around each other.

I'm also taking a certificate course for recording through NMIT.

Would like to save up my money and build a small project studio in my new house, but I need a lot of time.

Recorder count?

I wouldnt know. It was worth a try though. I only played it because my school had a method set up that you play the recorder first and then the flute. but I soon gave the flute up and went for the guitar.

and yes a recorder is a musical instrument, so it should count. cost me $50 for something I hardly used.

Played guitar about 10 years. Had my first go at busking a couple of weeks ago, it was pretty intimidating because I'm a reserved person and have no confidence at all in my singing, but I brought along a mate who can sing. Had an absolute ball, a made a few bob beer money as well.
