I guess it would depend on who you already have. Davey or Porpz are the best like for like trade, otherwise you'll need some cash in the kitty to upgrade to a premium.

It also depends on what line you have it... Pendlebury's an obvious swap if you're lucky enough to have him in the middle.

I'm looking at keeping higgins on the bench and upgrading Macaffer to Goodwin.

I don't see Macaffer getting another game so at least if I make grand final I will have someone to bring in for Ballentyne.

I'm in exactly the same situation. Higgins injured for 2-3 with M Brown covering. I figure that I'll need the trades for other injuries where I don't have any cover. But if I'm lucky with injuries then I'll upgrade him for the last 2 games of the season.

Have Mitch Brown/Walker(emerg) to cover but I am looking at Leon Davis or Franklin. I am thinking if Higgins will be a least 3 weeks which will be second week of finals. Even then coming back I do not think he will star straight away after a hammy. Frankilin and Davis will go up after this week.

I have 5 trades left, but have my heart set on bringing Pendles for my 6th mid spot (replaces Dangerfield, Anthony to bench). Have Higgins (and M Brown as cover)...been thinking I'll just hang onto him, but the last few hours have been getting a bit panicky and thinikng about bringing in Buddy for him. My match this week is largely irrelevent, but am a bit nervous about playing Brown in finals. My team is as below...should I (with 4 trades left after the Pendles one) trade out Higgins. I could sit it out for a week, but then Buddy will mroe than likely increase hige this week. Bear in mind too that I'll only have about $162k left, so 1 of those trades will probably have to be a downgrade for funds???

You trade him for who you can afford.

I had him in both Super Coach and Dream Team.

In Supercoach I traded him for Harvey and in Dream Team for Chapman, already had Chappy in Supercoach.

He is likely to play again this season but not much before the finals, only maybe a couple of light runs in round 21 and 22. For us he certainly needs to be traded out.

With 5 trades left you could afford to do 1 of the Higgins or Pendles trades this week. Higgins' price won't change but the Danger-Pendles trade will cost you $60K more if you wait.

Waiting 1 week on Higgins would only cost you say $20K-$30K if you want Buddy. But at least then you get 1 more week to see what's what with Higgins or any other injuries.

TBH, Danger-Pendles is the more luxury of the 2 trades however I think your team in finals will be better for it.

With not all of your bench playing you'll be lucky to squeeze 1 more downgrade out of your 3 remaining trades but who knows?

With Didak starting to get heavy tags, Davis will be freed up more. His scoring slump occurred when Didak came back and took over his role. That could reverse again given the attention Dids is getting.

I've already got Stevie J but will be bringing in Leon next week. I'm bringing in Goodwin for Higgins though. Sorry I can't really help, both are somewhat unpredictable.

Not sure how he is going to deal with the pressure of a heavy tag. If he gets free again he should dominate, but I'm going to safe option with Goodwin. And you'd be best to wait a week on Didak anyway, his BE is 200.

As much as a feel I jumped off Higgo too early, I'm very happy with where my forward line is at now:

Riewoldt, Pavlich, Deledio, ROK, Franklin, JBrown, Chapman

And trading Higgo was one of the keys to doing it, and it's winning me games.

Chaps/ROK are awesome but overpriced right now.

Roo, Lids, Brown or Pav are better bets for an upgrade.

Who thinks Buddy will keep his current surge going? He's gone up $150k in three weeks.

Didak is due a BIG price drop, so hold off on getting him.
