With the amount of playing rookie's in my team, I have to make decisions as to who starts and who is an emergency this week.

BACKLINE (1 of 2)
S.Hill or N.Suban.

MIDFIELD (1 of 3)
M.Robinson or P.Dangerfield or C.Ward.

FORWARD LINE (2 of 3)
N.Krakouer or J.Ziebell or T.Walker.

At the moment I have the bolded players as starters and the non-bold players as emergencies this week.
Thoughts?

It should be obvious to you, it is to me, I'd start Suban, Danger, Krak and Walker (given Ziebell's back complaints).

Hill, Dangerfield and definitely Krakouer.

I would go Walker ahead of Ziebell. There is a questionmark over Ziebell's fitness and he may be a late withdrawal so be careful there. Ziebell is also a bit of a hack so his SC scores are hammered a bit. With Hentchel out, Walker becomes a much bigger forward target so should get a lot of it and hopefully kick 2 or 3 goals.

If you have Skipworth you need to be also aware that he may be dropped this week. He is named on the extended bench along with some big name returns.

I'm facing a selection dilemma who to start out of Cheney, Rance or Patrenko???

Otten or Beams?

Petrenko or Hill?

The Adelaide pair are averaging better but they play Geelong. I'm leaning towards Beams and Petrenko.

Yeah im leaning towards rookies that aren't playing Geelong lol but if Cheney doesnt get named, as well as Brown it won't matter.

I've gone with:
Cheney (Petrenko, Broughton)
Rich, Beams (Robinson, Anthony)
Brown (Walker, Hogan)

Yeah I'm wary of the Geelong factor as well, particularly in deciding between Walker and Ziebell.

What's everyone's thoughts - Scarlett on Tippett and H Taylor on Walker? Or Scarlett to go straight to Walker (which could mean Walker scores 20 or less)?

Mitch Brown named on extended bench - any chance of being dropped?

Scarlett tends to play on the deepest forward usually and that is likely going to be Tippet in my opinion. Walker is a lot quicker and much more mobile so I think he will be a better match for Taylor..............or maybe even a Milburn.

Ziebell is carrying a back injury and there is a strong chance he will be a late withdrawal this week. Skipworth is also named on a an extended bench with a lot of other talented players. McVeigh and Lonergan and guaranteed to return. Leaves Skipworth battling it out for 2 spots from the 4 remaining players. Should play but had a quit game last week. Fingers crossed as most of would have him.

Ziebell a chance of being a late withdrawal (although named as a follower!), Skipworth and Brown named on an extended bench and Walker a chance of scoring SFA against Geelong.

Decisions, decisions ...

ahhh! im having trouble with who to start between cheney and petrenko. any tips?

Now you've got me worried...

This is how I've gone with my youngsters at the moment:

Petrenko, Hill (Suban emg)
Rich (Robinson, T Tuck emg)
Jacobs (replacing Leuenberger- Spencer's there, but named on extended bench, so no Ruck emg this week)
Walker (M Brown emg, Ziebell)

I think I'll be alright- I might switch the mid emergency from Tuck to Robinson though- worried Tuck might not have fully recovered from his shoulder yet)

Unless anyone has a differing opinion?

That's what has me worried, if Scarlett plays on Walker then he'll be lucky to get up around 40 yet as people have said, Ziebell has back problems and could well be a late withdrawl.
In regards to Hill and Suban, toss of the coin for me there but most are saying Suban.
And with my midfield, I know Dangerfield is probably the best out of the three but when you come up against guys like Ablett, Bartel, Corey, Ling & Enright I'm not so sure, maybe Callan Ward to score big?
