I was there.

Disappointing that the weather was its worst in three months probably and it wrecked the day a bit in terms of atmosphere and standard of game. Considering the number of 20-25 degree days we've had in the last month they were very unlucky to have that happen to them.

nope stayed home and watched on TV.
Phil Cleary commentary was a laugh, the ohhhhh and ahhhh and bagging Geelong and then get excited in the last quarter when Geelong were coming back

I went and made the stupid mistake of wearing some shorts after waking up to some beautiful sunshine only to see the weather change quite dramatically in a matter of half an hour.

It was my second VFL Grand Final.

I was there, it was a great day. It will be interesting to see where the grand final will be played next year.

ELIZA - "I went, and I HATED the place! It was so dank and dark and scary, and the seats were all filthy. At least the rain cleaned them "

Just don't seem to get it! That's what footy's all about! All the nooks and crannys, the dark underbelly, breaking out into light! You can just sense the history, the culture of the place! Catching the tram and walking through the park to get to the ground, don't get me wrong, i love the 'g, hate docklands, but i cherrish ANY chance to get back to the old grounds. You can have your roof and comfy chairs, it's just not for me.

Maybe you could bring a torch next time, or someone could hold your hand?

Oh yeah, i could only make the reserves granny, GO THE MIGHTY MUSTANGS, but had to shoot off afterwards. Nearly killed me! Pity the rain kept the crowds away, but i guess you just separate the wheat from the chaff when that happens, 8000 people who really wanted to be there. ( I heard 8000, but looked more like 5000)
