Davey at the moment...although he needs to work on his goal-kicking accuracy big time.
Puts opposition backlines under an enormous amount of pressure and does and huge amount of great defensive work without the ball, but what is the point if he can't finish it off by slotting the goals??!!

it's that time of year i'm afraid
Yeah, I've been thinking of Dreamteam aswell. I don't like Essendon players becasue Sheedy plays ducks and drakes with injuries. Your 300K players is always 1 week from coming back so you don't trade him until after 6 weeks, when after you lose paitence and trade him he invariably plays.

Yeah, I just did my team 2. I included Davey, he will play more games for sure.
I'm spewing the top 10 draftees have had their price adjusted. Ruined my strategy a bit

Davey will play more games this year, but in the long term Jetta will play more games.
As much as i hate essendon, i think you guys did really well getting jetta. i have seen a lot of his footy over the last 2 years and he is a great prospect. As long as he is willng to put in the hard yards he will make it. The only problem he has is commitment.
I wanted him at pick 17 last year and i was angry we overlooked him

Whats with the commitment issues? Seems to me he's been training pretty well all pre-season

can he stay commited to hard work over a number of years would be the question? i know at the camp he insisted that he didn't want to participate in certain tests.

none of us know him, and from what we've seen he's trained very well, people make too many personal judgements without knowing them

Jetta is basically just out of WAFL colts and only played a handful of senior games. Davey has been playing SAFL firsts for a couple of years and most people would agree the SAFL is miles ahead of the WAFL in skill and the pace of the game.
Davey will probably get in ahead of Leroy this season,but you just never know how quickly a player can adjust to AFL level.
I'm not counting chickens yet,but I see Jetta getting a go in the first half of 07' and then it just depends on how he goes. He might take off straight away or struggle in the big time H&A games..time will tell.

Yeah and I loved it when he dropped JJ to the two's right when I needed him most.

Yeah I agree. I think Jetta will do some really good things this year but I think Davey will be more consistent.
