I know that Webster is still on the recovery road, and Cookie is playing in a WAFL game to gain fitness but will be doubtful for round 1.

McPharlap and Parker have had their fitness questioned, are they ready to go for round 1?.

Any other question marks?.

On a similar tack, I had an interesting conversation with a business mate in Victoria, with the upshot being that alot of followers there reckon the Hawks fitness programme has gone to ruin over the last couple of years. He blamed that nasty "bandit" CC for stealing these "loyal" staff, I countered with the comment that they were just trying to get away from the smell of bleach and perming solution that pervaded the club.

Just Thornton, Cook and Wester I think.

Not sure about Parker.

Parker is OK the others you mentioned will miss Polak looks dodgy but will play Hadrill & Headland will be doubtful.
All the others look ready to go.
Ryley Dunne will definately play IMO.

We will name a full trength squad minus Cook who will be given an extra week or so at the WAFL. Woods , McPharlin , Dessy , Hadrill & Polak are certanties.

I am so certain Headland will play , if he doesnt I will go to the game nude.

Haddrill will be right, won't he?

I would think so - there's certainly been no talk of his ankle "tweak" being too serious... although it did happen more than once during the preseason.

Anyway, with half the Carlton squad either suspended, injured, or getting themselves injured, we need Sir Robert on the only bloke that might give us any real trouble. Fevola.

Easily fixed, get a trainer to "drop" a slab of our best brew at the edge of the 10 metre square, Fevola will think that all his christmas's have come at once.
