Who's petty minded

This is really a general topic, but it made me think.

Freo in the Heritage Round has used the old Freo jumper of red and white with Sydney not batting an eyelid, and now we have this year Freo playing with the Old East strip with the Roos not batting an eyelid about another team using "their" colours.

At the same time we have Collingwood jumping up and down over another team wanting to use their colours for that day and Essendon has said that they would not want anyone using their colours.

With all the discussion about West Coast using the 1977 SOO jumper, it made me think, what if next year for Heritage round the W.A. teams honour the WAFL contribution and thus wear a WAFL jumper. My mind quickly thought of the Black Ducks and Perth being the teams selected to represent. Freo would represent the Black Ducks, and the Eagles can be Perth.

I can assure you that more than an eyelid will be batted over this proposal from Victorian quarters. Makes me think, which teams administration are really petty minded ?.

masai I will never ever happen. We wil never ever wear the swan districts jumper the only way we will wear one similar if we decided to honour our mates at the real NFSFC . Thats right the now defunct North Fremantle Sunday Football Club , who were also once upon a time in the WAFL.

actually have changed my opion on the heritgae round jumper with recent events i thinks it is a fitting tribute to con reagan that we wear the old east jumper would be even better if all players had his jumper number reduced in size of course and put somewhere on the jumper
