Thought it might be a good idea to share and read through people's Wikipedia articles that they stumble upon from time to time. I'll often open a page and then spend 45 minutes to an hour reading through pages just to learn something new or because something caught my eye.
Tonight I've been into:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten-Day_War - Ten-Day War where Slovenia broke away from Yugoslavia by covertly shifting their entire military apparatus into a secretive hierarchy and then waging low intensity guerrilla warfare when the Yugoslavs came to try and quash the breakaway.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vidkun_Quisling - Vidkun Quisling, the leader of German-occupied Norway during WW2. I found him to be a really weird figure, probably had narcissistic personality disorder but was also remarkably efficient and studious as well as a realist. I feel somewhat sorry for him at points because I do genuinely think he wanted the best for the Norwegian people and constantly pushed for Norwegian independence from German rule. He was just too up himself to realise that no one liked him or fascism.
