Wikipedia help

Ok I'm starting a wiki on just horse racing, I've added one to my website and I'm having a hard time trying to work out info boxes.

Pretty much want 7 main info boxes,
1 for horses
1 for races
1 for racetracks/clubs
1 for jockeys
1 for trainers
1 for people
1 for websites/software

Now I want the horse one to look a little like this:

Now when I put that into his page I get a link, I go in a edit that page/template and still nothing comes up, what am I doing wrong?
