Will Paul Pierce bounce back from last years horrendous shooting display...from .442 (.404 3PT) to a lowly .416 (.302 3PT)...could have challenged for the scoring title if he hit his shots...although its not as bad as Antoine "I'm obssessed with the 3" Walker and his sub .400 shooting...stay inside like a good PF should....

I don't have any figures to compare, but .442 as the first option on offense as a backcourt player isn't overly bad is it? I mean, AI shoots below .400, does he not? Pierce does a lot of his scoring from the free throw line anyway, where a higher percentage of shots are made, so I don't think his average field goal shooting is too criticial.

I'm a big fan of Paul Pierce and enjoy watching him play. The Celtics have a decent roster, but they still very much depend on Walker and Pierce.

I have faith in Pierces ability, and while I think Boston may be in for a rough season, Paul will have a good season.

I read that Troy Murphy was trying to develop his 3pt shooting to give him some more versatility and be harder to defend. This is hot on the heels of Walker becoming a 3pt gunner. It seems in their quest for versatility, some of the bigger guys are forgetting what made them stars in the first place (well, Walker atleast). Are there any other such cases?
Which brings me to my question. What kind of trade would it take to get Walker away from Boston?

Antoine 'whenever i step on the court i'm in range' Walker is a better post up player than he gets credit for...if only he'd do it more often. Poor ol Celtics are a quality inside scorer away from being a power in the East....
