Well done Port, considering the Ants went out a few weeks ago, I'll admit I've been wanting the standalone clubs to do well.

Gary Ayres is a great coach at VFL level btw, perhaps too old for AFL level these days, but it's actually great for the league we have people of his ilk, coaching at this level.

Did anyone see that incident by Williamstown's Picken on that Port Player ? The VFL MRP should give him at least 6 weeks for that, pretty gutless attack on the player who just got rid of the ball IMHO, and it wasn't a legit shirtfront, he knocked the poor guy out senseless ...

Dog act, no need for that, Picken would have had the shit punched out of him for that if we didnt have the granny next week, it was good to see Dwyer come back out, he wanted to come back on, not allowed coz of the stretcher rule, they make em tough at Port, Go the Burra!..:thumbsu:

Few clubs can boast a history as colourful and eventful as that of Port Melbourne. Established in 1885, the club joined the VFA the following year and had an immediate impact, finishing 4th. From the earliest days, the club was nicknamed 'The Borough' or 'The Boroughs' because that is precisely what Port Melbourne was until 1893, when it was proclaimed a town. In 1919 it became a city, but the original nickname stuck.

Williamstown vs Port Melbourne - Can someone help

I returned last night from QLD. Before I went away, the ABC listed the finals as starting at 1:00 pm [I checked the guide].
Turns out that the game actually started at 2:00pm yesterday. As a consequence, my recording stopped during the early part of the 4th quarter.
I have scanned all guides [Foxtel and ABC] and can't see any replay.
Does anyone know whether the game is being replayed anywhere? ..or can someone help me with a copy? [obviously I don't need the 1st half].
I am in Essendon. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

My email address:- etcetc@acslink.net.au

...THANKS!!!:):)
